Swimming Dominates Double Dual Meet Against Midway & Campbellsville

WILMORE, Ky. – The Asbury University swimming teams picked up victories in Thursday's double dual meet against Midway and Campbellsville at the Luce Center Pool.

The women's team defeated Campbellsville 193-58 and Midway 213-27. The men's team beat CU 181-81 and Midway 220-23.

The Eagles had a first-place finish in 24 of the 28 events on the evening.

Highlights
*The men's 400 medley relay team- consisting of Alex Wu, Ronan Passman, Elijah O'Connor, and Tommy Johnson all had big days on the men's side with multiple first-place finishes, including the 400-medley relay.
*Passman placed first in the 100 & 200 Breaststroke, while O'Connor tallied a first-place finish in the 50 & 100 Free.
*Wu won the 100 and 200 Butterfly, earning provisional status.
*On the women's side, Hope Clark finished in first in the 100 & 500 Free.
*Maria Poll won three events- including the 200 Butterfly, the 200 IM, and the 400 medley relay.
*Emily Poll got first in the 50 Free and Kristin Sauer won the 1000 Free.
