WILMORE, Ky. -- The Asbury University swimming teams put together a strong effort on Saturday afternoon in their first home meet of the year. The Eagles hosted West Virginia Tech University and Bethel University. 

The men's team defeated WVU Tech and Bethel 160-99 and 204-42. The women's team also rolled with wins over the Golden Bears 77-43 and 137-104 over Bethel. 

"Both of our teams performed very well today, said Head Coach Alex Keyser. Having a meet on a Friday, especially on the road, and coming back and racing on Saturday is not an easy task. We handled it very well. We had lots of swims that were faster today than last night and I'm really excited with how both programs are performing right now."
