Why I chose Asbury:
- I chose Asbury because I have never gone to a Christian school before and I really wanted a college environment where I am surrounded by other Christians. I wanted a school where I can grow in my faith. I also hope to become a part of the closeness that being on an Asbury sports team seems to provide.
Career Aspirations/Outreach Involvement:
- I hope to put my social work degree to use in an outdoor setting, also tying in my faith if possible.
- In the summer I am a counselor at an all-girls Christian camp in the Poconos called Mt. Gilead.
Verse/Quote:
- "If you abide in My Word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." -John 8: 31b-32
