High School: Emily Slade comes to Asbury as a participant in the 2012 Regionals for Kentucky State soccer from East Jessamine. She was also a member of the Storm Club Socer team that won the KSSL Premier Division two season in a row. She then went on to play with her team in Ohio's Buckeye Premier Division. Her team placed first in the President's Cup in 2012 when they were able to travel to Kansas City for the regional tournament. Slade was also named Academic All-State.
