Biography
2026 (Freshman): Matthew competed primarily in the pole vault event for AU in his freshman season in 2026.
- Claimed 1st place in pole vault event at the AU Invite
- Won the pole vault event with a school-record clearance of 4.30 meters which was later confirmed as a CCS Championship meet record at the CCS Championships
- Finished 5th at NCCAA Outdoor Nationals in pole vault at 4m
- Claimed a 3.96m pole vault at Steemer Showcase
- Set school record in pole vault at 4.2m at Belhaven Invitational
