Mike has trained with players who've went on to become Overseas Professionals, All-American, and All-Conference.

He played point guard for Milligan College and Asbury University before a knee injury in 2008 ended his career. He has experience coaching at the high school level as well. Mike was an assistant for West Jessamine High School during the 2010 season when the team made it to the Final Four of the state tournament.
