Duncan Named Compliance Coordinator
WILMORE, Ky. — Asbury University head swimming coach Graham Duncan has been appointed the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Compliance Coordinator for TeamAU, assuming the role following Ben Andrews' promotion to Director of Athletics.
In the role, Duncan will oversee the department's NCAA compliance efforts, helping ensure adherence to NCAA Division III rules and regulations while supporting student-athletes, coaches, and staff in maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
"We are incredibly excited to announce
Graham Duncan as our new Compliance Coordinator," said Director of Athletics
Ben Andrews. Graham has demonstrated that he is a leader who embodies integrity through and through. Paired with his organizational skills and high comprehension levels, Graham is the perfect fit to spear head our compliance efforts moving forward."
Duncan returned to Asbury in 2022 as head coach of the Eagles swimming program after previously competing for AU from 2012-2016. A member of former Coach Alex Keyser's first recruiting class, Duncan graduated from Asbury in 2016 with a double major in Political Science and Spanish.
"It's an honor to step into this role serving our student-athletes," said Duncan. "I've enjoyed learning about the NCAA compliance world over the past couple of years and I'm grateful to Ben for the opportunity to be more fully involved with the operations of Asbury Athletics. Go Eagles!"
During his time as a student-athlete, Duncan was a three-time NAIA National Championships qualifier, NAIA Scholar-Athlete, and team captain. He scored individually in both the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle at the 2013 NAIA National Championships.
Prior to returning to Asbury, Duncan gained coaching experience at the club level. His background as both a student-athlete and coach provides valuable perspective as he works to support all of Asbury's athletic programs.
Duncan and his wife, the former Mariah Humphrey, are both 2016 graduates of Asbury University and reside in Nicholasville, Ky. with their two children.
Duncan begins his duties effective June 8.
