Five Asbury Softball Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District
GREENWOOD, Ind.--- The 2025-26 Academic All-District® softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, included Asbury softball student-athletes Samantha Bottom, Abigail Moffat, Sidney Hansen, Emily Zink, and Moira Tinsley.
The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Each institution is allotted its top five nominations of student-athletes who meet the CSC requirements listed later in this release.
Asbury Softball 2026 CSC Academic All-District Team
Samantha Bottom | Junior | Exercise Science | Danville, Ky.
Abigail Moffat | Junior | Equine Assisted Services | Carrolton, Ga.
Sidney Hansen | Junior | Psychology & Communications | Somerset, Ky.
Moira Tinsley | Sophomore | Exercise Science | Ogden, Ut.
Emily Zink | Junior | English | Mt. Sterling, Ky.
To be considered for selection on the Academic All-District Team, a program is allowed to nominate up to five student-athletes that meet the below athletic and academic performance achievements:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
- Student-athletes must compete in 90% of the school's games or have started in at least 66% of the school's games.
- For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings.
