Rogers and Tinsley Earn CCS First-Team CCS All-Conference Honors
ATLANTA, Ga. --- The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) recently released their 2026 softball all-conference teams with three AU student-athletes being honored. Freshman Art & Design major Elyanna Rogers and sophomore exercise science major Moira Tinsley being recognized as First-Team recipients. Junior psychology major Katelyn Bolin was named to the CCS All-Sportsmanship Team.
Rogers, a Dayton, Va., native, secured First Team honors at catcher following an impressive start to her collegiate career. She led the team with a .359 batting average during the regular season, tallying 28 hits, 11 RBIs, and seven stolen bases.
Tinsley, an Ogden, Utah, native, collected First Team All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season. She started all 36 games for the Eagles, posting a .306 batting average with 33 hits, 25 RBIs, and six home runs.
Bolin, a Corbin, Ky., native, was named to the CCS All-Sportsmanship Team, an award that honors one player from each team in the Conference who exudes sportsmanship and honor for the game, while playing at a high level. Katelyn embodies the mission of Asbury Athletics to serve, train, and compete for the glory of God.
