PERRY PARK, Ky. — The Asbury men's golf team played in their second event of the spring season in Perry Park, Ky., finishing second place in the tournament, while freshman Brady Patterson and sophomore Jackson Raby claimed top-five finishes.
The Eagles placed second as a team out of six teams represented at the tournament. The squad shot +23 on the first 18 holes over day one and a +24 during round two.
Freshman sport management major Brady Patterson and sophomore finance major Jackson Raby paced Asbury, each carding a two-round score of +10 to finish tied for fifth overall. Both Eagles were consistent across the tournament, posting identical rounds of 76 and 78 to secure top-five placements.
Dawson Case added another strong finish for the Eagles, tying for 13th at +14 after rounds of 77 and 81. Gehrig Galvin followed with a tie for 20th at +16, bouncing back with a four-over second round to climb the leaderboard.
Rounding out the lineup, Grayson Head finished 23rd at +18, while Gideon Coleman placed tied for 28th at +28
