Bluegrass Orthopaedics Student-Athletes of the Week
WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury men's tennis sport management major,
Alejo Britos, and women's tennis accounting major,
Alexandra Garcia, have been named the Asbury Student-Athletes of the week, presented by Bluegrass Orthopaedics Sports Medicine.

Alejo Britos | Men's Tennis
Britos, a Buenos Aires, Argentina native, turned in a strong week for the Eagles across three matches. He earned a 6-4, 6-4 singles victory against Centre, then followed with a 6-4 doubles win and a 6-2, 6-4 singles win against Huntingdon in the conference opener. Britos closed the week with another dominant showing against LaGrange, securing a 6-2 doubles victory and a 7-5, 6-1 singles win, finishing the match with a 10-2 tiebreak in the third set.
Alexandra Garcia | Women's Tennis
Garcia, an Saint Point Lucie, Fla., native, had a dominant week for the Eagles in conference play. He opened with a 6-1 doubles victory against Huntingdon before earning a 6-1, 6-0 singles win. Garcia followed that performance with another strong outing against LaGrange, claiming a 6-1 doubles victory and a 6-0, 6-0 singles sweep.
