DANVILLE, Ky.--- The Asbury women's soccer team (4-3-2, 1-0 CCS) fell on the road on Wednesday night in a non-conference matchup against undefeated Centre College (9-0-1) in Danville, Ky., 5-0.
The Colonels scored in the 11th minute of the match, and then added two more goals in the first half (19' & 22') to go into the break leading 3-0. In the second Centre scored two more times, in the 53rd and 84th minutes, reaching their 5-0 win.
Asbury sophomore sport management major and goalkeeper
Peyton Steiniger played the full 90' for AU, collecting seven saves total. The Colonels put 12 shots on goal against Steiniger out of 23 total taken.

Tallulah Lafferty, and
Maggie Perry each joined Steiniger in playing 90 minutes in the match.
AU had two corner kicks and drew four fouls against Centre. The Eagles had two shots, with one on goal by freshman exercise science major
Riley Bussell.
A total of four fouls were called on Asbury, while Centre had four corner kicks on the night. Sophomore
Cate VanMeter also got a shot off for the Eagles.
