TeamAU Celebrates Class of 2025 Graduating Scholar-Athletes
 Scholar-Athlete Lapel Pin
WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury University Athletics celebrates the class of 2025 graduating scholar-athletes, including 22 student-athletes from 12 teams and 17 majors.

These student-athletes represent commitment to the TeamAU mission to train in the classroom for the glory of God. To be eligible for this honor student-athletes must have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher during their undergraduate studies at Asbury University.

TeamAU graduating Scholar-Athletes were honored with an AU Scholar-Athlete lapel pin (located to the right) during the 2025 Asbury Eagle Awards. Recipients will wear the pin during commencement services and will be able to keep it as well.

Asbury University Commencement Services will take place Saturday, May 3rd in the Asbury Luce Center at 10 am (College of Arts; Humanities & Social Sciences; Dayton School of Business; School of Christian Studies) and 2:30 pm (School of Communication Arts; School of Education; Shaw School of Sciences).

"Our Scholar-Athletes embody what it means to be a "student-athlete." They have achieved academic excellence as a student while balancing that with the rigor of being a collegiate athlete", said Faculty Athletics Representative Dr. Emily Walsh. "This is no small feat, and our faculty celebrate this wonderful academic accomplishment with our Scholar-Athletes. We look forward to the impact they will each have as they go out from Asbury."

Alongside 22 Scholar-Athletes being announced, many student-athletes were highlighted on April 25th in the Asbury Honors Convocation Chapel for their performances in the classroom.

Asbury Athletics is extremely grateful and proud of the way these student-athletes embody the TeamAU mission of serving, training, and competing for the glory of God. We thank God for their time on campus and pray for Him to lead them in whatever He has next for them!
