Men's Hoops Garners Three NCCAA Scholar-Athletes

GREENVILLE, S.C.--- 
The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) recently announced their 2025 Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes.MBB NCCAA Scholar-Atheltes

To qualify for NCCAA Scholar-Athlete Award, the nominees must be a junior, senior or graduate student academic standing, completed at least one term.

The student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.40 or higher and have maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale at the nominating institution.

Transfer students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.40 on the 4.00 scale based on all grades at all institutions attended, regardless of whether a course grade is accepted at the nominating institution. All criteria can be found on the NCCAA website.

Below listed are the three Asbury men's basketball student-athletes that qualified as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.

Scott Shepherd - Junior - Pre-Medicine
Clayton Winter - Graduate - Learning and Behavior Disorder Graduate Degree
