WILMORE, Ky.--- Asbury baseball (3-4) business administration majors
Quinn Nobles and
Ben Propes led the Eagles to a two-game sweep over Oberlin College (2-7) on Saturday in Wilmore, Ky., at Cecil Zweifel Field, 11-1 in game one and 7-6 in game two.
Nobles, a junior from Nicholasville, Ky., went 8-10 at the plate with four RBIs, three runs scored, a double, triple, and walk-off single. Propes, a sophomore from Birmingham, Al., went 6.1 innings in game one with one earned run, two walks, and seven strikeouts.
Game One | ASBURY 11, OBERLIN 1
Asbury's defense committed only one error behind Propes in game one, holding Oberlin scoreless until the final inning of the run-rule shortened game.
The Eagles scored in every inning except the first, with more than one run scored in the second, third, fourth, and fifth innings. AU finished with a season-high 14 hits, while Oberlin had six on the game.

Trevor McNaughton went 3-3 in the game, scoring twice and driving in a run.
Kaden Dugle and
Aaron Beaman each had two hits and drove in an AU run.
Game Two | ASBURY 7, OBERLIN 6
AU sophomore
Cayden Devine got the start in game two, going 4.0 innings with two hits, one earned run, four walks, and a strikeout. Freshman Christian Ministries major
Evan McClain came out of the bullpen to give Asbury four innings of work with five strikeouts and one hit.
Asbury scored one in the first and led until Oberlin tied the game in the third, 1-1. The Eagles capitalized on two Oberlin errors in the fourth to score two and go ahead 3-1, before Oberlin had five runs on three hits across the fifth and sixth to take a 6-3 advantage.
AU rallied for two runs in the seventh on two hits and scratched the tying run in the bottom of the ninth to head to extra innings, 6-6.
Andrew Gilliam got three outs for Asbury in the top of the 10th to earn his second win of the week in extra innings.
Ryder Bunfill singled to lead off the 10th and later scored on the Nobles one-out single for Asbury's second 10th inning victory of the week. Nobles had a career-high five hits during the game.
