HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.--- The Asbury women's tennis team (6-2, 1-0 CCS) swept the College of Saint Mary Flames (0-2) on Wednesday afternoon in Hilton Head, S.C., 7-0, for their sixth win out of eight matches this season.
The Eagles won all three of their doubles match and each of their six individual contests. Last season's 14-1 campaign for AU featured five sweeps, the Eagles now have three in 2024-25.

Katherine Nova took her undefeated No. 1 singles stretch to 9-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win over the Flames. Nova also partnered with junior
Martina Paillet in the No. 1 doubles match to earn a 6-1 victory.
Ariadna Zegarra, a junior business administration major from Lima, Peru, earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory of CSM in the No. 2 individuals match. Junior elementary education major
Megan Moore also swept her individuals matchup, taking a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 4 spot.

Asbury will face a Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) opponent on Thursday morning in Hilton Head, beginning at 8:30 am against Agnes Scott College.
