WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury men's basketball (0-3, 0-0 CCS) had three people in double digits but was topped by Berry College (2-1, 0-0 SAA), 72-60, on Friday night in Wilmore, Ky.
The Official Jeweler Sponsor of Asbury Athletics Faithful Platform presented the matchup. Faithful Platform is the presenting sponsor of the @FaithfulPlatformRings "Gem of the Game."
Berry controlled the game early, outscoring the Eagles 36-27 in the first half. Asbury battled back in the second half and cut the deficit to four at 49-45nwith 10 minutes to play, but the Vikings bench, contributing 26 points.

AU was led in scoring by
Luke Imfeld,
Jonathan Combs, and
Cam Jones. Imfeld, a finance major, scored 16 points on 7-15 shooting. Combs, a finance major, added 12 points and seven rebounds. Jones, a finance major, finished 12 points and a team-high four steals.
The Vikings outrebounded the Eagles 46-23, leading to 19 second chance points. Both team shot around 40% from the field, with Asbury at 25-61 (41%) and Berry at 26-65 (40%).
Berry went 11-34 (32.4%) from the three point line and the Eagles went 5-24 (20.8%). Berry guard Drew Winegarden scored 12 points and four threes.
