WILMORE, Ky.--- Junior biology major
Anna Sparks scored two second-half goals to lead the Asbury women's soccer team (8-5-3, 4-2-1 CCS) to a 2-2 comeback draw against Belhaven University (10-3-3, 5-1-1) on Saturday afternoon in Wilmore, Ky.
Belhaven struck first with goals in the 27th and 37th minutes to take a 2-0 lead going into halftime. AU had nine shots and earned five corner kicks in the opening half but was unable to find the back of the net.
The Eagles responded in the second half. In the 56th minute, Sparks scored to cut the deficit in half and then netted her second goal in the 86th minute, capitalizing on a rebound off a crossbar attempt by junior exercise major Maggie Perry to tie the match at 2-2.
Sophomore goalkeeper Peyton Steiniger recorded three saves in 90 minutes, while Sparks led all players with five shots.
AU outshot Belhaven 14-13 and held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks. Defenders

Belhaven received one yellow card in the second half.
