WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury men's soccer (6-3-2, 0-1-2) hosted Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) opponent Belhaven University (7-3-4, 2-0-2), on Saturday afternoon in Wilmore, Ky., tying the Trailblazers, 0-0, in a closely contested conference matchup.
The Blazers had 16 total shots with eight on goal, while Asbury had six shots with one put on goal against Belhaven. AU junior business administration major
Peyton French had six saves to keep Belhaven off the board, securing his first clean sheet of the season.
AU had four corner kicks compared to Belhaven with three corners. The Blazers had 14 total fouls called against them, the Eagles received seven foul calls. Yellow cards were given to both teams, two handed to Asbury and one card to Belhaven.

Jacob Graston had the only shot on goal for the Eagles.
Eli Redpath also had an opportunity for the Eagles but was defended off the goal from Belhaven.
AU had five players compete the full 90 minutes:
Peyton French,
Jon Gordon,
Aiden Fish,
Grant Tatum, and
Josue Twizere. Belhaven's Avery Anders and Ciaran Colvin each had two shots on goal that were both saved by French.
Belhaven came into the match undefeated in the CCS and remains that way after the draw. AU continues to hunt for their first CCS win after ties with Huntingdon and the Blazers.
