  • What does serving, training, and competing for the glory of God mean to you?

Being able to serve, train, and compete for the glory of God means that I get to live out my faith through the abilities that God has given me. Whether this is in sports or serving others, the overall goal is to make God the center of everything.

  • Who are some of the coaches, faculty and staff that have impacted you at AU?

Coach Crouse has been a big role model and has impacted me the most. He has allowed me to grow in my spiritual walk with God while also pushing me to be the best athlete that I can be.

  • How have you grown spiritually during your time at Asbury?

During my time at Asbury so far, I have seen lots of growth in my spiritual side. The ability to surround myself with a community like Asbury is one of the biggest factors that has played a role in this. Being able to attend Chapel services every week is another way that I have been able to strengthen my relationship with God.

  • What advice would you give to new student-athletes coming to Asbury?

Some advice I would give new student-athletes coming to Asbury would be to prioritize the opportunities that God gives them. I would also say that setting goals to push yourself and strive to compete for the glory of God is important.

Jackson has had an impact since he stepped onto campus at AU. He definitely brings dynamic talent to the golf course, but also in the classroom and on the rest of campus he carries himself with maturity and respect. I’m excited to see how Jackson continues to develop and encourage those around him during his time at Asbury.
