CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — The Asbury University men's golf team finished fifth at the Golf Capital of Tennessee Invitational on Tuesday posting a team score of +25 across three rounds.
The Eagles opened the tournament at +5 before carding a +9 in the second round and an +11 in the final round. Asbury finished fifth in the 13-team field, trailing tournament champion Northwestern Ohio, Georgetown College, Tennessee Wesleyan and Brescia.
Jackson Raby led the Eagles individually, finishing tied for 10th at +2 (74). Raby opened with a +1 (73) before shooting a +4 (76) in the second round and closing the tournament with a - 3 (69).
Brady Patterson finished tied for 16th at +6, posting three consecutive rounds of +2 (74).
Dawson Case and Gehrig Galvin both finished tied for 30th at +12. Case opened with a -1 (71), while Galvin recorded an even-par second round.
Asbury's four golfers all finished inside the top 30, helping the Eagles secure a fifth-place team finish in the 13-team field.
