WILMORE, Ky.--- On Saturday the men's and women's swim teams hosted Anderson University and Midway University in their lone home meet of the year, hosted at the Luce Center. The women took two wins sweeping their meets, while the men split the day beating Midway and falling to Anderson.

On the women's side, results were highlighted by a few event sweeps. Claire Hentrup, Leah Margraf, and Hannah Maria Jones went 1-2-3 in the women's 100 Freestyle.

Rachel Lynn and Eva King went 1-2 in the women's 500 Freestyle. And both AU women's 200 Freestyle relays went 1-2.

To round out the rest of the women's results: Ruthie Ward won the 50 Freestyle, Emme Johnson won the 100 Backstroke, Morgan Stephenson won the 400 IM, and Joy Killingsworth won the 100 Butterfly. For the meet AU won both women's relays.

On the men's side results were highlighted by a few big wins. Braden Vincent won the 100 Freestyle, Ethan Bonow won the 100 Butterfly, and Owen Seymour won the 50 Freestyle. The men's side also won both relays that were contested.
 

Both teams are back in action next Saturday in Danville, KY at Centre College at 11 AM

"This was our only home meet of the season and it was really great to see everyone's family and friends come out and support us. We swam really well and were able to touch the wall first in several events. It truly was a team effort and to see that effort pay off with a couple team victories is really fulfilling to see. We start our intentional conference preparations next week and have one more meet on the road. I'm excited to see how we finish the season!"
