Asbury Athletics strives to provide student-athletes an opportunity to serve, train, and compete for the glory of God during their time as a collegiate student-athlete. Pelfrey has embodied this mission during her time AU, examples below.
- Serving on a trip to Puerto Rico with LYNC8 on mission with the Asbury women's basketball team and head coach Chad Mayes
- Training through consistent hard-work on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom while encouraging her teammates to be the best they can be
- Competing with a competitive spirit on the court with her teammates with respect for the opponent
