TeamAU Announces Overall 3.46 GPA in 2024 Spring Semester
WILMORE, Ky.--- Asbury Athletics announced on May 7 an overall department GPA of 3.46 for the 2024 spring semester. TeamAU is honored to celebrate the investment to training in the classroom Asbury student-athletes and coaches have displayed the entire 2023-24 school year.
The AU Athletics department also earned an overall 3.36 GPA in the 2023 fall semester, representing the Asbury Athletics mission to serve, train, and compete for the glory of God.
On April 26, TeamAU highlighted 28 graduating Asbury scholar-athletes. To be eligible for this honor student-athletes must have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher during their undergraduate studies at Asbury University.
Asbury Athletics also also received academic honors during the year from the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The NCCAA named six TeamAU programs as Scholar-Teams, honoring programs that earned an overall team GPA of 3.40 or above.
The mission of Asbury Athletics is to equip men and women for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and service to their professions, society, family, and Church. Earning a college degree is the primary objective of AU student-athletes alongside competing for the glory of Christ to win games and championships.
Asbury Athletics is extremely proud of the work and commitment TeamAU student-athletes have contributed in the classroom throughout the 2023-24 academic year to represent Asbury University and give glory to Christ through a pursuit of excellence.
