STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
WILMORE, Ky.--- Junior intercultural studies major Josie Deatherage's nine strikeouts in her 13th complete game of the season and junior art major Katilyn Wilson's four hits were not enough as Asbury softball (11-16) dropped two games to Kentucky State (15-17) in Wilmore on Tuesday night, 5-0 and 4-1.

STORY - QUOTE
"We didn't play our best. We had some nice hits but couldn't capitalize on them. Both pitchers threw well and kept us in the game, but defensive errors cost us in certain innings. We'll use this as a learning opportunity and come out ready to compete for our next games."
Ally Moore | Asbury Softball Head Coach
