GRAYSON, Ky.--- Asbury softball (11-18) traveled to Grayson Kentucky to take on NCCAA opponent Kentucky Christian University (12-26) for a late-week doubleheader. Asbury's eight hits on the day were not enough for the KCU offense, putting up 24 hits on AU through the two games, resulting in AU falling both games, 8-0 and 10-6.

Game One | ASBURY 0, KCU 8
* KCU earned an early lead, scoring four runs in the first two innings to put them up 4-0
* Asbury tallied only two hits through the game, while two of KCU's runs were scored off errors
* Kentucky Christian added four more runs to the game, to give them the 8-0 win.
Game Two | ASBURY 6, KCU 10
* Asbury and KCU both scored one run in the first inning to tie the game 1-1.
* KCU added two more to take the lead, then Asbury retaliated in the top of the third with five runs to give them their first lead of the day, 6-3.
* Asbury was not able to put up any more runs in the game, while KCU scored five more late-game runs to take their win
* Two of AU's runs were scored from sacrifice hits from Natalie Ison and Emma Popplewell
* Josie Deatherage racked one strikeout on the day

* Asbury left six runners on base in the doubleheader
* Asbury put up eight hits on the day

Asbury will return home for their last home game of the season, taking on Transylvania University for a doubleheader at 2 and 4 PM.
