Perkins and Nobles Six Hits Power Asbury to Series-Deciding Win over WSLC; 10-9


STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
FAIRBORN, Ohio.--- Sophomore business admin. major Quinn Nobles and senior exercise major Colton Perkins combined for six hits to power Asbury baseball (16-14) over Wright State Lake University (15-18) in the deciding game three of the weekend series in Fairborn, Ohio, 10-9. 

Asbury freshman right-hander Nathan Kaufman came on in late innings for 2.2 innings of scoreless work with five strikeouts to earn his second win of the season. AU had 13 hits and committed no errors in the game, committing only two the entire series.

STORY - TOP PERFORMERS
* Quinn Nobles had three hits with a double, two stolen bases, and a run scored
* Colton Perkins went 3-4 with a walk
* Nathan Kaufman went 2.2 innings with five strikeouts to pick up his second Asbury win
* Andrew Billington had two hits with two runs scored including a double
* Cam Weaver had three RBIs and a run scored
* Noah Brown had a double with two runs scored after his four-hit day yesterday
* Kaden Dugle had three walks with a run scored
* Brody Bearden got the start and went 2.1 innings with five strikeouts and three earned runs

* Asbury scored five runs in the sixth to go ahead 9-4 and then gave up five in the seventh to sit tied again, 9-9
