* Josie Deatherage threw only 57 pitches in her complete game
* Asbury had runners at second and third in the bottom of the third in game one after a Taylor Enlow double to left-center, before Emily Popplewell hit a hard line drive right at the Shawnee State center fielder to get out of the inning
* Both teams combined gave up only five walks on the day, striking out 15 times across both teams

* Asbury eight runners on base in game one and were held to three hits on the day
* Shawnee State's pitching staff walked only two hitters across both games

Asbury will travel to Midway University on Friday for a doubleheader starting at 2 pm, before hosting Manchester University at home on Saturday for games at 1 and 3 pm.
