LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga.--- Asbury men's basketball (4-6, 0-0 CCS) slipped to Bob Jones College (2-4) in their second and final game in Lookout Mountain, Ga., of the Covenant College Classic on Saturday afternoon, 84-71, despite multiple career-highs for the second consecutive day.
Asbury faced a halftime deficit with the score reading 43-26 in favor of the Bruins. Bob Jones made six threes in the first half and went 5-5 from the free-throw line.
Despite the challenging start, AU rallied to outscore Bob Jones 45-41 in the second half but ultimately were unable to close the Bruins advantage. The Eagles made seven second half threes and shot 42% from the floor.
Asbury sophomore guard
Tyler Hall emerged as a leading scorer for the Eagles, contributing a career-high for the second consecutive game with 21 points and five made threes. Hall also had a career-high three blocks alongside three assists and three boards.

Cam Jones and graduate student
Clayton Winter, who added 13 and 12 points respectively. Jones had a career-high eight assists, just two away from his first double-double. Winter completed a double-double performance with a formidable 13 rebounds and three blocks, his third double-double of the season.
Both teams had 11 made threes and also committed 16 turnovers apiece. Bob Jones scoring 20 points off turnovers while the Eagles had 17 off turnovers.
Asbury edged the rebound battle 38-37, but Bob Jones shot 46% from the field compared to the Eagles at 35% shooting.
Looking forward, Asbury is set to meet Boyce College for the second time this month on December 17th. This time, the game will be in Lousiville, Ky., on Boyce's home court at 7 pm.
