CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.--- The Asbury men's soccer (10-6-3, 4-3-0 CCS) slipped in the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) Nideast Region Championship on Friday night against the Campbellsville Tigers , 3-0, in Campbellsville, Ky.
Campbellsville scored a goal in the fifth minute of the first half and then two goals in the second half to secure the win. Asbury had two shots in each half with three on goal for the game but could not find the net.
AU had seven saves on the night out of CVille's 10 total shots on goal while CU saved all three on goal for Asbury. Junior
Crosby Short was in goal for the Eagles to secure the seven saves.

AU committed seven fouls while CU had six on the night. There was only one yellow card and it went to Campbellsville. The Tigers held Asbury to no corner kicks and took 11 of their own.
Campbellsville earns an automatic bid to the NCCAA National Tournament in Florida with the Region Championship. Asbury will await the bracket announcement from theNCCAA.org.
