
PALM COAST, Fl. --- The Asbury men's golf team traveled to Florida to compete in the NCCAA National Tournament at the Conservatory Golf Course. The team placed ninth in the event, ending their fall 2024 tournament season.
AU finished the three rounds at an overall +106. The Eagles had their best day on Monday where they shot +32.
Individually, the Eagles had noteworthy performances from several players. Senior Garrett Sturges led the team with a total of +15 (80, 79, 76) over the three rounds on the challenging course.
Jackson Raby, not far behind, finished at +17 (77, 87, 84). Cayden Lancaster and Gideon Coleman also put up strong performances with totals of +22 (84, 82, 86) and +20 (82, 78 90), respectively, while Dalton Gibbs rounded out the group with a score of +18 (81, 82, 83).
The event was the last of the fall season for AU, as they now prepare for the spring 2025 season where they will compete for the first time in the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS).
