WILMORE, Ky.— In a grueling non-conference showdown, the Asbury women's soccer squad (4-3-3) drew with the Wittenberg Tigers (2-3-3), finishing the game 2-2 at the Asbury Outdoor Venue in Wilmore on Wednesday night. The match was sponsored by the Asbury Executive Cabinet (EC).

The game started off strong for the Eagles, who led 2-0 at halftime thanks to a standout performance by Hannah Muncie, who netted both goals for Asbury. Muncie's impressive display not only gave her team a solid lead but also earned her additional recognition for her scoring prowess. Assisting in the effort was Anna Sparks, whose crucial playmaking contributed significantly to the Eagles' early advantage.

However, the tide turned in the second half as Wittenberg mounted a comeback. Goals from Brooke Mullis and Sarah Deaton, with an assist from Alex Hill, leveled the score, turning the latter half into a tense battle.

The defensive lines were notably anchored by goalkeepers Moore, Violette of Asbury, and Winkle, Lily of Wittenberg, both of whom played pivotal roles in keeping the scoreline in check as the game progressed.
