Haleigh Releford partnered with a 28 point third quarter burst proved to be enough, as Asbury women's basketball (9-7) defeated UC-Clermont (6-5), 81-62. The win propels the Eagles to a perfect 2-0 in the new calendar year.

"Today we didn't play our best offensive game, but defensively we were locked in from the opening tip. That made things better for us than it could have been. We also got a chance to give a lot of people some minutes today with good results."
