WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:
Asbury vs Franklin | 9/8/23 | 4 PM | Wilmore, Ky. | Women's Soccer
AU Women's Soccer (0-1-0) tries to bounce back from their opening loss last Friday night, when they play host to Franklin College (1-1-1). This will be the second home game of the season for the Eagles.
The Eagles look to have a rebound game where they struggled to get a push on the offensive side, getting five shots and just one on goal last week against a good Hanover defense. AU will look to senior captains, Audrey Van Lieu and Caroline Absher to help get the team their first win. The defense will be headed by goalkeeper, Maliya Crump who had a nice opening game with six saves. Head Coach Zach Welch looks to secure his first win as head of the program this afternoon.
