BEREA, Ky.--- The Asbury volleyball team took one of two games on Saturday in Berea, Ky., slipping in game one to Wooster but responding with a 3-0 sweep of Berea. 

Emma Grace Gray and Macie Pack led the day offensively for AU with ten kills apiece against Wooster and 16 kills combined to beat Berea.

Sophomore Megan Walden produced a game-high 13 kills against Wooster while fellow sophomore Sidney  Haysley had ten on Berea. Haysley also totaled an impressive four aces in the win over Berea. 

Asbury sophomore Lucy Kate Gray followed up her 49 assist first game of the season with 66 on the day, 39 coming against Wooster. Emma Grace Gray led AU with 28 digs combined in the two matches. 

Game One | ASBURY 1, WOOSTER 3
After dropping the first set of the day to Wooster (15-25), Asbury's push for a second set response fell just short, 22-25. The Eagles rallied in the third set for a 25-21 win to get within one set of Wooster. 

In another close set AU scored 22 points before falling to Wooster in the fourth set to close the match, 22-25. Wooster used 12 essential aces in the match to take the win. 

AU led both teams in kills with 47 to Wooster's 43. Errors hurt the Eagles with 31 to Wooster's 19. 

Game Two | ASBURY 3, BEREA 0
AU used their offensive momentum built against Wooster to lead into their matchup with Berea, taking the crucial first set, 25-22. 

In the second set Asbury made a statement, scoring 25 points and only allowing 13 to Berea (2-0). To complete the sweep Asbury won 25-23 in third set, taking their second win of the year in only three matches. 

After committing 31 errors in game one, Asbury committed only nine overall in the match. AU put together 35 kills and hit a .210 percentage in only three sets to beat Berea on the road.
