WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:

Asbury vs. Kentucky State University | 9/13/23 | 6 PM | Wilmore, Ky. | Volleyball

Winning four of their first eight matches of the 2023 season, Asbury volleyball welcomes Kentucky State on Wednesday night in the Luce Center for their first home match of the year. AU took both meetings between the two programs last season. 

Asbury sophomore Lucy Kate Gray enters the contest fifth in the NCCAA in total assists, with 266 in eight matches. Her sister, Emma Grace Gray leads AU in kills at 94. First-year Eagles Sidney Haysley and Macie Pack are close behind with 68 and 62 kills.

Asbury at Bluffton | 9/13/23 | 3 PM | Bluffton, Oh. | Women's Soccer
Asbury Women's Soccer (0-1-1) will be traveling to take on Bluffton University (1-2-1) in a afternoon matchup. AU is coming off a tie Friday night against Franklin College, where goalkeeper Maliya Crump recorded a clean sheet. 

AU and Head Coach, Zach Welch is seeking their first win of the young season. Asbury will look to build off its great defense on Friday and turn it into some offensive opportunities. AU will rely on Hannah Muncie and Caroline Absher to lead the attacking offense. 

AU looks to create more chances on offense today, on the season they are averaging 5.0 SH per game and 1.0 SOG.

The defense will look to continue to stay strong for the Eagles, just allowing five shots and two on goal in last Friday's match. The team also only allowed two corner kicks the whole match. 

Today's match will be the first time in AU history that the Eagles will line up against Bluffton University.
