Asbury Athletics Earns 3.48 GPA in 2023 Spring Semester
WILMORE, Ky.--- Asbury Athletics announced on May 31 a combined department GPA of 3.48 for the 2023 spring semester. 212 Asbury student-athletes earned Honor Roll honors (3.25 or above semester GPA) while 149 achieved the status of Scholar-Athletes (3.5 cumulative GPA following the semester).
Asbury student-athletes also received academic honors during the year from the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). 55 student-athletes were honored as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes in 2022-23, maintaining a cumulative 3.40 or higher following their semester.
On April 28 Asbury announced 37 graduating Scholar-Athletes, over ten percent of the entire 2023 class. To be eligible for this honor student-athletes must have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher during their undergraduate studies at Asbury University.
The mission of Asbury Athletics is to equip men and women for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and service to their professions, society, family, and Church. Earning a college degree is the primary objective of AU student-athletes alongside competing for the glory of Christ to win games and championships.
Asbury Athletics is extremely proud of the work and commitment TeamAU student-athletes have contributed in the classroom throughout the 2022-23 academic year to represent Asbury University and give glory to Christ.
