NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. --- Asbury women's tennis competed against Transylvania Tuesday at 5pm at Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Ky.
The Eagles put forth full effort, but were unable to match the Pioneers' high level of skill, dropping the match 2-7.
Several Eagles were able to contest against the Pioneers in parts of their sets, including two members of AU who were able to grab the victory in their individual matches.
Competing at spot #2 for singles, sophomore
Megan Moore won her match off of one set winning 6-5. Moore did not play a second set after a RET from Transylvania's player.

Kourtney Kawata won the #5 singles match (7-6, 6-4).

On Friday, February 25, AU women's tennis will travel to Lookout Mountain, Ga., for their next competition. The Eagles will face Covenant College, a fellow NCCAA school, at 10am.
