Eagles Make Nine Second Half Three's to Beat Spalding, 82-79


STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
LOUISVILLE, Ky.--- Nine three's and 46 points in the second half led Asbury men's basketball (4-0) to their fourth straight win to start the 2023-24 season on Tuesday night in Louisville, Ky., against Spalding, 82-79. AU trailed 36-43 after the first half but shot 56.67% from the field in the second half and held Spalding to 36 points to stay unbeaten. 

STORY - TOP PERFORMERS
* Caleb Wallis scored a season-high 25 points on 9-13 from the field, 5-8 from three, three steals, three rebounds, and two assists
* Dakota Walden scored a season-high 23 points (7-13 FG) with three made three's, 6-6 from the line, two assists and two rebounds
* Clayton Winter scored 11 points with six rebounds, three assists, and his first made three of his career
* Aden Slone led AU in rebounds with seven and in assists with four, also scoring nine points
* Anthony Dillard scored 19 for Spalding, shooting 9-14 from the field
