Asbury at Blackburn College | 10/2/23 | 4 PM (EST) | CARLINVILLE, IL. | Men's Soccer

Asbury men's soccer (4-2-3) will be returning after a week-long break to travel to Carlinville, IL., to take on a new competitor, Blackburn College (1-6-2). Before their break, Asbury is coming off a scoreless tie against Transylvania and a win over Warren Wilson. AU is looking to create an effective winning streak as they will look to players like Austin Dunlap and Jason Flaming to help lead them offensively. Dunlap leads the Eagles with four goals and two assists and Flaming holds two goals with one assist. 

Freshman keeper Peyton French has recorded four clean sheets from six games started this season. French is looking to grow his shutouts and be a defensive force for the Eagles. French has 18 saves on the season with only three goals allowed in his six games. 

Nick Clark has been a huge piece for AU, leading the board with four assists. Clark will look to create set-pieces against Blackburn and work towards another AU win.
