WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:
Asbury at the NCCAA Mideast Regional Qualifier | 9/20/22 | ALL DAY | Men's Golf
The Asbury men's golf team will begin day two of the NCCAA Mideast Regional at 9 am today. Asbury will be looking to climb the ladder set up by Campbellsville-Harrodsburg in their strong first round of play.
Asbury was led on day one by freshman, Jão Costa and sophomore,
Garrett Sturges. It will take all of the Eagles in day two to put together a full performance to finish the tournament at the top of the leaderboard.
Asbury at Rio Grande | 9/20/22 | 6PM | Volleyball
The AU volleyball team hits the road Tuesday afternoon to compete in Rio Grande, Oh. The Eagles will face the Rio Grande Redstorm, starting the match at 6 pm.
Asbury faced Rio Grande during the 2021 season, going a full 5 sets, and pulling away a 3-2 win. The Eagles will be looking to defeat the Redstorm for a second time in a row throughout tonight's matches.
Rio Grande is coming into today's matches with a win against Shawnee State University, and will be hoping to add another win to their record.
Asbury at Covenant | 9/20/22 | 6PM | Men's Soccer
The Asbury Men's Soccer team will travel to Lookout Mountain, Ga. today to take on the Covenant Scotts. Kickoff will be at 6 PM. The Eagles and the Scotts have been facing off since 2007, and AU has not seen a victory yet. The Eagles are coming off of a tough loss against Cleary University last Friday at home, 0-1. Asbury currently hold a record of 2-2-2 and the Scotts hold a 2-1-3 record. The Eagles will go in fighting for a win, and potentially make program history.
