Hanover, In. --- Asbury women's soccer traveled to Hanover, IN on Thursday night to take on Hanover College. The Hanover Panthers claimed an early lead on TeamAU, taking 3 goals in the first half. This proved to be too much for Asbury to recover from as Hanover added 3 additional goals in the second to take the 6-0 victory.
The Eagles fall to 0-1 for the start of the season, but will look to recover in their next match up.
 

*Maliya Crump (GK) recorded 62 minutes of play and notched an impressive 20 saves for the Eagles.
*Freshman Dorcus Lara (F/M) was able to produce a shot on goal.
*Carlie Alvis (GK) saw the field for 30 minutes, racking up 6 saves for her team.
 

Asbury will next face Covenant College for their home opener on September 3rd in Wilmore, KY. The teams will kick off at 2 PM.
