NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – On Saturday afternoon, the Asbury University tennis teams collected two more wins for the 2022 season at Top Seed Tennis Club. 

The men's team won against Emory & Henry 8-1, and the women claimed a 7-2 victory. Asbury men also defeated Birmingham-Southern 6-3, while the women defeated Illinois Wesleyan 9-0.

Both teams won at least two of the three doubles matches to earn a point and a 1-0 advantage before singles action. The men's team won five out of six singles matches to help them secure the victory against Birmingham-Southern. 

The women didn't drop a set in all five of their singles victories against Emory & Henry and Illinois Wesleyan in singles play.
