Danville, KY– The Asbury University men's tennis team claimed its fifth consecutive victory on Wednesday night with a 8-1 victory over Centre College.
The Eagles got off to a great start on Wednesday after collecting all three doubles points with victories at No. 1 from Gregorio Ingles/Duarte Teixeira, No. 2 from Rodrigo Cavero/Luiz Gustavo Hartkopf and No.3 from Sparks/Penuela (AU).
In singles action, Gregorio Ingles, Joseph Lewis, Rodrigo Cavero, Alejandro Caceres, and Tanner Sparks were all victorious.
This weekend, the men's and women's teams return to action at Top Seed Tennis Club at 4 PM on Friday against Transy, 9 AM on Saturday against Emory & Henry, and 3 PM on Saturday against Birmingham Southern/Illinois Wesleyan.
