Asbury women's basketball (6-6) will face Clark State Community College (6-5) in a neutral sight game today in Springfield, Oh. The game is a part of the Wittenberg Holiday Classic hosted by Wittenberg University.
Asbury is coming off a challenging road loss on Friday night against Midway, after leading by double-digits in the fourth quarter. Asbury has shown their resilience all year long, responding to a loss with a win three times already.
AU has met up with Clark State only once before, last season in the Wittenberg Holiday Classic on December 21 when Asbury took a convincing victory.
Clark State comes into the matchup at 6-5 and 1-2 in conference play, dropping their last two contests. The Eagles of Clark State are 5-2 on the road so far this season. Clark State is led by two freshmen in scoring, forward Ayendia Kimble with 16.4 per game and guard Taeja Morrow at 11.4 per game.
Asbury's defense is currently holding their opponents to below 40 percent from the field in their first 12 games. AU's opponents also average 13.6 turnovers per game.

Camryn Preston put together one of her best performances this season on Friday for Asbury with 12 points and nine rebounds. AU is still led in scoring by sophomore guard
Haleigh Releford, putting up 13.8 points per game.
