WILMORE, Ky.--- Goalkeeper Maliya Crump earned an astonishing save percentage of 92.0% as the Eagles fell on Wednesday evening in an intense home matchup with the Tusculum Pioneers, 0-2.
Crump tallied 23 saves on the night, just one save shy of her record of saves in one match for the 2022 season.

Throughout the match, the Pioneers held a 31-2 advantage in shots, putting 25 on the frame while the Eagles sent only a solo attempt on frame by freshman Holynn Crager.
In the first period, possession of the game swayed between the two teams, creating a physical battle.
After being persistent towards goal and 8 saves made by Crump, the Pioneers were able to slip past the defense outstretching the arms of Asbury's keeper for the 1-0 lead.
For the Eagles, freshman Mary Hostetter was able to get off a shot, but was unsuccessful.
With two minutes left in the half, freshman Holynn Crager was able to attempt a shot on goal, with Tusculum's keeper making a save to keep the Eagles off the board.
This concluded the remainder of the first period, providing a score of 1-0 going into the half.
In the second period, the physical contest continued as the Eagles pushed hard to make a comeback.
In the last 45 minutes, AU faced 16 shots, with one put in the back of the net, and 15 being saved.
The score was set to 2-0, Tusculum.
