Goliday Hits Career-High 9 Threes, Eagles Push Winning Streak to Four

WILMORE, Ky. – Junior Jamiel Goliday could not miss from long range on Tuesday afternoon, as he finished with a career-high nine threes and 27 points, as the Eagles defeated Grace Christian at the Luce Center 92-74.

Asbury has won four consecutive contests to improve to 8-2 on the year and are 6-2 in home games.

The Eagles finished with 19 threes on Tuesday and have connected on 58 threes in their current four-game winning streak.

Key Stats
*Golday knocked down a career-high 9 three-point field goals and led AU with a team-high 27 points on the afternoon.
*The Reynoldsburg, Ohio native finished 64 percent from three on the day.
*Eric Powell scored 22 points and connected on five threes in the victory. Powell added five rebounds and three assists and has hit 16 threes in the Eagles' past four games.
*Leander Ridgeway scored in double figures for the 10th straight game, finishing with 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
*Dakota Walden and Siah Holifield each finished with eight points apiece and combined for six assists.
*TJ Robinson notched a team-high eight rebounds with seven points and four assists in 35 minutes of action.

*AU jumped out to a 13-7 advantage in the first four and half minutes with Ridgeway scoring 8 quick points.
*The Eagles maintained their lead and never trailed, leading 47-36 at halftime. Asbury hot 10-19 from three in the first 20 minutes.
*Asbury continued to control the flow of the game in the second half, despite a run from Grace Christian, which cut the lead down to six early in the half at 52-46.
*The Eagles would go on a 16-7 run over the next four minutes of action to hold their largest lead of the game at that point at 68-53.
*Goliday sunk five threes in the half and the Eagles never allowed the lead to slip closer than 12 in the final 12 minutes of play.
