It's a great opportunity to continue playing the sport I love and to further my education. Along with growing my faith in the Lord.

Road trips to away games and then jokes after wins.

What is your major/minor?

I am an Art & Design major with an emphasis in Photography.

Why did you choose Asbury?

 I visited my sister whom attended Asbury and each time I visited her I didn't want to leave. It was after multiple visits I decided to come for an actual recruit weekend with the swim team, and I was blown away by the teams comradery and the way Coach Keyser interacted with his athletes as if they were his own children. It was after those recruit trips that I stopped fighting my call to come to Asbury and accepted that this school was meant to be my home.

Who is your favorite athlete?

I would say my favorite athlete is Bethany Hamilton. Her story is one of incredible faith, determination, and trust. She struggled with her shark attack at age 14 which could have changed her life for the worst, but she decided to preserve through it all and trust that God would help her achieve her goals, no matter the setbacks.

What is your favorite Asbury sports moment?

 I would say it is the devotions we have as a swim team every Saturday morning before practice. Those moments of vulnerability, intimacy, and encouragement we share together with each other and God will always hold a place in my heart for the rest of my life.
