WILMORE, Ky. - The Asbury University women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision on Saturday afternoon at home against conference foe Rio Grande.
Asbury falls to 0-3-1 on the year and 0-1-1 in River States Conference play.
Highlights
* URG struck first with the first goal of the game as Glenn White scored a goal inside the box off an assist from Lorna Campos.
* AU was unable to answer back when URG scored again off a header on a free kick early into the second half for a 2-0 lead.
* Late in the second half AU responded with a goal from
Amber McIntosh with under five minutes to play.
*Asbury had opportunities and chances to score throughout day but were unable to find the back of the net.

Delaney Long's shot off the crossbar was one of the best shots on the day, but AU was unsuccessful in tying the match up.
