Box Score MIDWAY, Ky – After two weeks since their last game, the Asbury men's soccer team returned to the field at Midway on Thursday afternoon in River States Conference play. The Eagles collected their third victory of the season with a 4-0 shutout victory.
 
AU moves to 3-1-1 on the season and is now 2-1-1 in RSC league action. Midway drops to 1-7 and 0-5 RSC.
 
Highlights
*After a scoreless first half, it was all AU in the second half.
* The Eagles got on the board after a goal from senior Isaac Amaya in the 69^th minute of play. Sam Henderson recorded the assist on the scored goal.
*Moments later, Isaiah Ireton scored off an assist from Andrew Nelson to push lead out to 2-0.
*In the 79^th minute, AU scored its third goal of the game as Amaya tallied his second goal of the contest.
*Nelson scored the fourth goal of the half in the 85^th minute to preserve the win and shutout. Brody Smith registered the assist on the score.
